Although this website limits itself (mostly) to data covering the Dutch East India Company and the world it operated in, there are a number of other good resources that list data that might be relevant or interesting.
Connected Histories
Connected Histories attempts to link 25 major digital resources for the period 1500-1900 together, ranging from the papers of the English House of Parliament to the lives of ordinary Londoners. As such, it is particularly interesting to explore the lives of people working for the English East India Company, or others who ended up in the Anglosphere.
Broken links
Currently, Connected Histories’ links are broken due to typo’s. However, all the listed resources are available through a quick search-engine query.
Journal of Slavery and Data Preservation Dataverse
The Dataverse of the Journal of Slavery and Data Preservation includes datasets on all forms of slavery, including within the scope of the Dutch Empire.
Magazine of Early American Databases
The MEAD collects a large variety of datasets compiled by historians of Early Modern America, all in CSV format.
The Suriname Time Machine
The ‘Projects’ page of the Suriname Time Machine has numerous tools and apps, but if you scroll down it also has a ‘Bronnen & Bladwijzers’ section with a lot of interesting projects, tools and datasets. The page is in Dutch.
